1st Annual Food Bank Fundraiser by Cosmic Glamour Creations

This holiday season you can help the less fortunate by giving a gift of giving back. When you purchase any service you will be helping to feed the hungry in Calgary. Not only will you be giving your loved ones a gift that they will never forget, you will be doing some good knowing that your gift will be sending a huge thank you to the Veterans in our city and helping your fellow neighbour. Go ahead and treat your loved ones (or yourself) with a gift of insight and knowledge with an intuitive reading, or any makeup service.

My family was struggling to make ends meet, we had to make the same decision countless families have to make…bills Or food. Two days after our sons birthday we found ourselves at the Calgary Food Bank receiving an emergency food hamper. To our surprise in the hamper there was a special bag for our son. Inside we found a beautiful book and supplies to have a little celebration for him, cake mix and all. It was such a unexpected gesture of kindness that I will never forget. Since then I made a vow that as soon as I was in a position to give back I would. You can help out families and children this winter by purchasing any service I provide.

Through November 18 2019 – January 1 2020 I will be donating 60% of all sales between 2 Food banks here in Calgary. With your help the Calgary Food Bank and The Veterans Food Bank will be able to replenish supplies and continue to feed the hungry after the busy time of the holiday season. Every $1 received turns into $5 to go towards perishable and needed items to fulfill hampers. Give back to your community this holiday season while giving the perfect gift.

Calgary is a city of big hearts and helping hands all because of people like you! The Veterans food bank is a non-profit operated by volunteers that helps Veterans with food hampers and is aiming to create a space filled with resources and community. Say Thank You to our Veterans this holiday season. Your purchase will help the ever growing and changing Veteran population to have access to food, resources and most of all community.
